
Transferees are students who have enrolled or taken college or vocational units in other colleges, universities or vocational schools.
Even applicants who apply as freshmen will still be considered transferees for as long as they have officially enrolled in any degree or certificate program in any school after high school.
Requirements for Transferees
1. Official Transcript or Scholastic Records
2. Honorable Dismissal/ Transfer Credentials
3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
4. Course Description
5. Photocopy of the NSO Birth Certificate
Procedures for Transfer
1. Applicants must present requirements for pre-evaluation to the AERO, Ground Floor of the Arts Building.
2. After pre-evaluation, all transferees must take the FEU-CAT. (If student has already taken the FEU-CAT in the past, he/she must verify test results from AERO.)
3. For transferees to BS Nursing, BS Medical Technology and BS Architecture, results should be personally verified at the AERO. An above average performance in the FEU-CAT is needed to gain admissions to these degree programs. There will be no admission of transferees to BS Accountancy.
4. All successful transferees will proceed to the AERO to submit all original requirements during the designated evaluation period.
5. After pre-evaluation at AERO, transferees will proceed to the Office of Student Affairs and Community Services (OSACS) for profiling.
6. After OSACS, the respective institutes or departments will perform an Academic Program Credit Evaluation (APCE) to determine credited courses.
7. Once the APCE is done, transferees will be instructed to submit the endorsement forms, the APCE and all original requirements to AERO.
8. They will back on the scheduled date of enrollment for transferees.
Policies for Credit Evaluation
• Transferees with three (3) or more failing grades will be advised to start as freshmen.
• Only PE and NSTP will be automatically credited.
• The highest entry level for all transferees is the 2nd year level.
• Transferees with a GWA of 2.25 or better will automatically qualify for credit of units earned.
• Only general education courses will be considered for credit.
If a transferee does not want to be evaluated for credit, he/ she will be asked to sign a waiver for credit.
