Arts and Culture

The FEU campus is a living art space, recognized by UNESCO for successful heritage preservation. Newer buildings, including those by Pablo Antonio, Jr. blend perfectly with the 5 Art Deco edifices designed by Pablo Antonio, Sr., National Artist for Architecture.

Rare artworks by National Artists for Visual Art Fernando Amorsolo, Vicente Manansala and Carlos “Botong” Francisco can be found and admired around campus, along with pieces by Antonio Dumlao, Simon Saulog and Francesco Monti. Formal classes can be taken in the Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts. All are welcome to take either a guided or self-guided tour of the FEU Campus.

Complementing Architecture and the visual arts, the President’s Committee on Culture (PCC) presents a Film & Performing Arts Season in the historic FEU Auditorium consisting of an average of 2 screenings and or performances each month featuring the best Filipino and foreign talents. All events are free and open to the public.

The PCC also manages and develops 5 University based cultural groups: The Bamboo Band, Chorale, Dance Company, Drum & Bugle Corps and Theater Guild. Students who meet academic and artistic requirements are given full or partial scholarships. Read more about them by visiting the culture page found under the Campus Life section of www.feu.edu.ph.

Come see, hear, feel and experience for your self how the Arts & Culture are alive in FEU!
