GS-Long Students who wish to take a Master’s degree program should have completed a bachelor’s degree. For doctoral degree program, applicant should have completed a master’s degree.

Evaluation procedure:

 

  1. Applicant must secure an endorsement form at the Admissions Office
    1. NON-FEU Graduates (for initial evaluation)
      1. Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or its equivalent;
      2. Photocopy of diploma;
      3. Photocopy of license, if applicable.

B. FEU Graduates (final evaluation)

  • Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or its equivalent;
  • Photocopy of diploma;
  • Photocopy of license, if applicable.
  • Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of NSO Marriage Certificate (for married women)
  • One (1) page, single spaced essay stating the reasons for taking graduate studies, and area of concentration.
  • Satisfactory performance in the Graduate Level Test (GLT).
  • Two (2) sealed recommendation letters from current/former employers or former professors.
  1. The evaluation by the program head will determine whether the applicant is qualified to apply for the graduate level test or take supplemental/bridging courses prior to his/her application for the graduate program by the program head *FEU graduates are exempted from the GLT
  2. Applicant must return the endorsement form at the admissions office and register online.

Online Registration Procedure:

For New Applicants:

Register and apply in the online admission application through the website, www.feu.edu.ph

      1. Register via http://feu.edu.ph/register
      2. Open the registered email account & read instructions sent by Netsuite
      3. Log in
      4. Slide cursor over to admission tab then select fill out-admission form (select application type based on the initial evaluation)
      5. Open the registered email account and read instructions sent by Netsuite
      6. Pay 512.00 for the exam fee
      7. Log-in to your Student Central account, under the admission tab select exam booking then book exam
      8. Exam details will be sent to the registered email account

  *Exam result will be released one (1) week after taking the Graduate Level Test (GLT) thru email notification.

FEU Graduate/Former FEU student (who did not graduate but with enrollment record in FEU)

      1. Log-in to Student Central
        • username: studentnumber@feu.edu.ph
        • password: last 4 digits of the applicant’s student number followed by the last characters of his/her  family name, ALL CAPS.
      1. Slide cursor over to “Make Request” tab
      2. Select and apply for “Re-Admission”
      3. Wait for the approval of the Re-Admission request. Status can be checked under “View Request” tab.
      4. Once approved, applicant must go to ”Admission tab” select “Admission Form” then “Fill-out Admission Form” (select application type based on the evaluation)
  1.  Non-FEU Graduates, after passing the GLT, must submit the following requirements:
    • Original Transcript of Records with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or its equivalent
    • Original Transfer Credential / Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of Non-Issuance of Transfer Credentials
    • Photocopy of NSO Birth certificate
    • Photocopy of NSO Marriage Certificate (for married women)
    • One (1) page, single spaced essay stating the reasons for taking graduate studies, and area of concentration.
    • Satisfactory performance in the Graduate Level Test (GLT).
    • Two (2) sealed recommendation letters from current/former employers or former professors.
  1. Applicant will then be advised to go to the institute Dean / Program Head
  2. The successful applicant will be advised to return to AFA for the enrollment date and procedure.

Specific Additional Policies

      • Applicants who wish to enroll a graduate degree program that is not vertically aligned to their Bachelor’s degree will be required to take at least 9 undergraduate prerequisite units to be determined by the Dean or Program Head.
      • Applicants whose GWA falls below 2.0 will be admitted under probation for one semester if they pass the GLT. They must not have any grade lower than 2.0 to continue in the program.
      • For Master of Arts in Nursing, applicants must be registered nurses to qualify. They will be required to submit a copy of their Nursing License as part of the requirements.
      • For Master of Arts in Communication, 2 years related work experience is needed.

Graduate Level Test for 2nd trimester and 2nd Semester for AY 2017-2018
