FEU’s “Be Brave” wins at Philippine Quill awards

“Be Brave”: The story of Far Eastern University” earns FEU a Quill Professional Excellence Award.


FEU Corporate Affairs Vice President Atty. Gianna R. Montinola and IAS Dean Dr. Rowena C. Reyes received the Quill Award for FEU at the 17th Philippine Quill Awards held at Marriot Grand Ballroom, Pasay City on August 30, 2019.

Far Eastern University was feted at the 17th Philippine Quill Awards held at Marriot Grand Ballroom, Pasay City on August 30, 2019.

FEU was a Professional Excellence awardee for “Be Brave”: The Story of Far Eastern University” film.

The film is about FEU and the legacy of its founder Dr. Nicanor Reyes Sr. told through his daughter Dr. Lourdes Reyes Montinola. It reveals the vision and determination of the man who contributed to the development of the country by paving the way to making quality education accessible to Filipinos.

It is a production spearheaded by the FEU Marketing and Communication Office and premiered at the Ayala Museum in early 2018.

The Quill Awards is the most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication in the Philippines and honor exemplary communication research, programs, skills, and creative work.

“Be Brave is not only about FEU’s history but also the story of the school’s role in the history of Philippine education,” FEU Corporate Affairs Vice President Atty. Gianna R. Montinola commented.
