The Asian Journal on Perspectives in Education (AJPE), an open-access scholarly journal of Far Eastern University, proudly announces a significant milestone in its continuing journey toward global academic recognition. AJPE is now indexed and abstracted in twelve international databases and abstracting systems, affirming its expanding global reach and research visibility.
The journal is currently listed in Google Scholar, EBSCOhost, ResearchBib Academic Resource Index, Andrew Gonzales Philippine Citation Index, BASE, Philippine National Library, Scilit, Crossref, Dimensions, Index Copernicus, Semantic Scholar, and J-Gate. This achievement underscores AJPE’s sustained commitment to high-quality, peer-reviewed publishing and its dedication to advancing open, equitable, and sustainable knowledge ecosystems in education.
“This milestone positions AJPE as one of the leading scholarly platforms in the Philippines contributing to the global open knowledge movement,” said Dr. Rosarito T. Suatengco, Editor-in-Chief of AJPE and Research Fellow at FEU. “It strengthens our mission to amplify Filipino and Asia-Pacific scholarship and to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals.”
As an open-access journal, AJPE upholds the principles of inclusivity and accessibility by removing paywalls and ensuring that educators, researchers, and students across the world can freely access and cite its published works. This initiative resonates with FEU’s vision of fostering innovation, equity, and digital transformation in education, while promoting academic collaboration beyond borders.

The journal’s growing international visibility is further supported by its Crossref membership, enabling the assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to all published articles, ensuring permanence, traceability, and scholarly integrity. Its inclusion in indexing platforms such as EBSCOhost, Dimensions, and Semantic Scholar significantly enhances its discoverability, citation impact, and global engagement.
Building on these achievements, AJPE continues to expand its editorial and outreach initiatives through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, mentorship programs for emerging researchers, and its annual AJPE Writeshop Series, a flagship training event that nurtures academic writing and publishing competencies aligned with international standards.
This collective progress reflects FEU’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to the global academic community through open knowledge dissemination and research excellence.
