JD needs-based is awarded to financially challenged first year exam takers who successfully meet the eligibility requirements and will enroll during the first semester of the academic year in Juris Doctor program at FEU Makati. The Institute of Law (IL) Dean’s Office endorses the qualified applicants to AFA.
I. Eligibility
- Filipino citizen of good moral character
- Family income of not more than P360,000 per year
- GWA of at least 80 or its numerical equivalent in the degree program
- Application must be submitted within three years from the date of graduation.
- Must pass the FEU Institute of Law Admission Test
II. Requirements
- Duly accomplished Application form with (1) 2×2 colored picture with white background
- Original and photocopy of Diploma and TOR (original copies for verification purpose only and shall be returned to applicant immediately after verification)
- Latest tax exemption certificate or income tax return of both parents
- Original of Certificate of Good Moral Character
III. Benefits
- Full tuition + assessed miscellaneous fees discount + book allowance and living allowance
- Can be enjoyed for 4 years provided the grantee complies with the retention requirements
IV. Retention Requirements
- QPA of at least 83%
- No grade lower than 75%
- No dropped course
- No major disciplinary infraction
- Must have enrolled in courses equivalent to the number of units required for the semester based on the student’s respective curriculum.
