Students who wish to take a Master’s degree program should have completed a bachelor’s degree. For doctoral degree program, applicant should have completed a master’s degree.

Admissions Requirements:
Non-FEU Graduates
- Original Transcript of Records with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or its equivalent
- Original Transfer Credential / Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of Non-Issuance of Transfer Credentials
- Photocopy of diploma (not applicable for transferee)
- Photocopy of license, if applicable
- Photocopy of PSA Birth certificate
- Photocopy of PSA Marriage Certificate (for married women)
- Essay (please refer to the questions below)
- Two (2) sealed recommendation letters from current/former employers or former professors.
FEU Graduates from Manila and Makati
- Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or its equivalent;
- Photocopy of diploma;
- Essay (please refer to the questions below)
- Photocopy of license, if applicable.
- Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
- Photocopy of PSA Marriage Certificate for (married women)
- Two (2) sealed recommendation letters from current/former employers or former professors.
Guidelines for the Admission Process:
- The Admissions and Financial Assistance Office (AFA) will conduct the initial evaluation based on the submitted requirements of the student applicants. Once passed, AFA will forward the requirements to the Institute for final evaluation including the endorsement form and the recommendation letters.
- The Department Chair or the Dean of the concerned Institute will administer the final screening through an interview/essay.
- The AFA will email the final evaluation results to the applicant.
- The Graduate Studies Office will send the acceptance/congratulatory letter to the registered email of the applicant once eligible for admission.

For MA Applicants | Essay and Research Plan In preparation for academic writing, graduate student applicants are expected to submit an essay. This essay must exhibit the applicant’s readiness to engage in scholarly writing, which is a requirement in the graduate school. Guide Questions for Essay Writing for Master’s Level: In 500 words, answer the following questions: Why do you want to pursue a graduate study in your specific field? How do you think your research will contribute to your field? Describe its potential significance to you and to the field. |
For Doctoral Applicants | Guidelines for Doctoral Applicant’s Research Plan Below are the criteria for full consideration of your research plan: Research plan must be brief but clear: state your research topic: What is the specific topic you want to pursue? Provide at least one research question that you want to address? explain the purpose of your study: What does your study offer? explain the significance of your study: Why do you think your study is important? ADMISSION POLICIES
Special Policies for Graduate Studies
- Applicants who wish to enroll a graduate degree program that is not vertically aligned to their Bachelor’s degree will be required to take at least 9 undergraduate prerequisite units to be determined by the Dean or Program Head.
- Applicants whose GWA falls below 2.0 will be admitted under probation for one semester if they pass the GLT. They must not have any grade lower than 2.0 to continue in the program.
- For the Master of Arts in Nursing, applicants must be registered nurses to qualify. They will be required to submit a copy of their Nursing License as part of the requirements.
- For the Master of Arts in Communication, 2 years related work experience is needed.

(who did not graduate but with an enrollment record in FEU)
- Log in to Student Central
- username: studentnumber@feu.edu.ph
- password: last 4 digits of the applicants’ student number followed by the last characters of their family name, ALL CAPS.
- Slide the cursor over to the “Make Request” tab.
- Select and apply for “Re-Admission”.
- Wait for the approval of the Re-Admission request. Status can be checked under the “View Request” tab.
- Once approved, the applicant must go to the ”Admission tab”, select “Admission Form” and then fill out Admission Form (select application type based on the evaluation).
