The Sponsor shares the government’s vision of a globally-competitive and world-class workforce that will contribute to a more progressive Philippines and believes that the vision can be realized by assisting financially-needy but deserving Filipino students obtain quality tertiary education.
I. Eligibility
- An incoming 3rd year student
- Must be enrolled in any program under the Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts
- GWA of not lower than 85% from the first year to current year of application
- No grade lower than 80%
- Combined family income of not more than P 500,000 annually
- Filipino citizen
- Not a recipient of any major scholarship or financial aid
- Physically fit
- Must have a good moral character
II. Requirements
- Report of rating
- Certified true copy of the latest Income Tax Return, or when not applicable, an affidavit stating information about the sources and amounts of income of parents/guardians
- Birth Certificate
- Medical certificate from a qualified physician
- Good moral certificate
III. Benefits
- Full cost of tuition, fees, and other mandated expenses
- Monthly allowance of Three Thousand Pesos (Php3,000.00)
IV. Retention Requirements
- A semester grade point average not lower than 85% or its equivalent, with no grades lower than 80% in any subject
- Must not drop any subject nor cancel enrollment for the period during which they enjoy the scholarship without prior approval of the Sponsor
- Must not change or shift course major
- Must carry the full semestral load as prescribed by the Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts
- Must not apply for any other major financial assistance, grant or scholarship, from other external sources
- Shall be prohibited from accepting any kind of employment while on scholarship, other than possible internship at ADGO Architecture and Design, Inc., the intent being to require scholars to devote their full time to their studies.
