About the Job

As a Procurement Assistant at Far Eastern University (FEU), you will play a crucial role in supporting the institution’s purchasing and supply chain operations. In this full-time position based in Sampaloc, Manila City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services required for the smooth running of the university.

Responsibilities

 

  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documentation
  • Conducting market research to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities and expenditures
  • Providing administrative support to the procurement team, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, and responding to inquiries

What we’re looking for

  • 1 year experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in an educational or similar institutional setting is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and databases, as well as Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations in the Philippines
