“Asian Tourism: Representations, Revitalization and Recovery”
November 15-17, 2021

To be hosted by:
Far Eastern University, Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management,
In partnership with Mahatma Gandhi University, Tourism Studies

Rationale:

The Far Eastern University Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (FEU ITHM) of the Philippines is pleased to announce that the 2nd Asian Tourism Conference (ATC) is happening on November 14-16, 2021. The University, in partnership with India’s Mahatma Gandhi University, will be hosting this year’s event with the theme: “Asian Tourism: Representations, Revitalization and Recovery”. This endeavor comes after the successful staging of the 1st ATC last December 1-3, 2020.

The global tourism sector is moving towards embracing the UNWTO (United Nation World Tourism Organization) vision on tourism recovery for people, planet, and prosperity. The educational sector, governments, and private entities work together on the recovery strategy to preserve the tourism industry for future generations. Crucial in achieving this is long-term and holistic thinking by sharing knowledge and tools and supporting the development of best practices.

The 2nd ATC will be again done online, and organizers look forward to welcoming all delegates.
