Far Eastern University achieved its best performance to date in the 19th Philippine Quill Awards after winning a total of 26 awards.

FEU bagged two out of the three top student awards and was 1st Runner Up in the School of the Year category. FEU Tamang Boto Campus Tour won the Top Award for Communication Management, while A Dictator’s Guide to Cinema received the Top Award for Communication Skill. These awards were revealed by International Association of Business Communicators in its awards night on August 18, 2022.

The initial list of winners was announced in late May in which FEU took home four in the professional category and 19 in the student category.

FEU TAMang Boto Campus tour is a three-phase voter’s education campaign that aims to embolden and reaffirm among FEU students that youth participation in the 2022 National and Local Elections is a crucial process in creating pivotal change in nation building. It is the pioneering student led non-profit initiative that united all campuses under the FEU Group of Schools with the aim of encouraging students to register to vote. It is the first major project under the Phase 1 of the TAMang Boto campaign which tackled voter registration.

A Dictator’s Guide to Cinema organized by the FEU Film Society is a roundtable discussion with prominent film practitioners and scholars, tackling the face of Philippine Cinema during the Martial Law era, and how it can be compared to the contemporary period. In line with Philippine Film Industry Month, and the anniversary of the Declaration of Martial Law, the event shall dive into an in-depth discussion by answering the prepared questions of the moderator and from the audience.
