Far Eastern University is set to offer special programs for uniformed personnel under a new partnership with the National Capital Region – Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU-NCR).

Under the agreement, FEU will serve as the main school partner of the RSTU-NCR and will provide the necessary academic arrangements including faculty and facilities.

RSTU- NCR personnel and other personnel of its operating Bureaus and affiliated units can enroll in FEU’s graduate studies program. The classes will be a mix of face-to-face and virtual sessions.

The formal MOA signing was held at the Philippine National Police (PNP) national headquarters in Camp Crame in late November.

The event was attended by Police Brigadier General Bernard M. Banac, FEU Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs (SVPAA) Trina Tinio, and Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS) Dean Rowena Reyes.

Dean Reyes said that the new partnership was made possible by Professor Liana Barro of the IAS Department of Communication. Barro has been a consultant for the PNP for several years.

“The partnership will help us move synchronously towards a common goal of service to the Filipino people and to the betterment of their lives,” said SVPAA Tinio.
