FEU Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (FEU ITHM) officials led by Associate Dean John Lester F. Tuason and Associate Department Chair-Internship Carolina L. Roces conducted a four-day benchmarking and ocular visit at Batam, Indonesia and Singapore.
As part of the forthcoming Cultural Immersion Program, the meetings began with an ocular inspection of the amenities and facilities at Harris Resort Barelang Batam Executives. They visited Batam Tourism Polytechnic the following day to talk about the Faculty and Student Exchange Program and had a sharing on best practices in Tourism Program Management (faculty and student development, internationalization, internship, and others).
Finally, they had a meeting with some executives of Conrad Centennial and Hilton Orchard Hotel Singapore for future collaboration for the international internship program.
The series of meetings is part of the strengthening of the internationalization initiatives of ITHM.
