The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHM) of Far Eastern University presents the 2nd Asian Tourism Research Conference on November 15-17, 2021 via Zoom app in partnership with Mahatma Gandhi University. The theme of the conference, “Asian Tourism: Representation, Revitalization and Recovery” is in line with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)’s vision of bringing together stakeholders such as educational institutions towards tourism recovery and sustainable development.

ITHM has lined up a powerhouse list of speakers and discussants from the government, industry, and academe to share their insights, experiences and expertise on varied topics anchored on the theme of the conference. Research presentations will also be presented during the three-day conference.

One of the highlights of the conference is the presentation and awarding of the 1st ATRC RACE (Research, Academic and Community Engagement) Award for Excellence 2021. The ATRC RACE Award for Excellence is an award given to an exceptional tourism and hospitality educator for his/her significant scientific and outstanding contributions in the areas of research, academic involvement, and community engagement.”
