Far Eastern University claimed its first ever V-League Men’s Collegiate Challenge title after dethroning De La Salle University in three games on October 4, 2024 at the Philsports Arena in Pasig. The FEU Tamaraws Men’s Volleyball Team led by Finals Most Valuable Player Dryx Saavedra swept DLSU in the winner-take-all game 25-22, 28-26, 25-18.

The Tamaraws won Game 1 in four sets (25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 25-19), but were unable to close it out in Game 2 after the Green Spikers methodically thwarted the Tams in four sets. FEU entered the playoffs as top seed after going 6-1 in the elimination round. The Green and Gold swept National University in two games in their semi-finals matchup.

Winning the V-League title qualifies the Tams to play in the Spiker’s Turf Invitational Tournament later this October and compete against the top semi-professional teams in the country.
