Emerging and established athletes are featured in the latest version of the “Heights of Excellence” located at the ground floor of the Architecture and Fine Arts Building.

Unveiled a few weeks before the start of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 86, all featured personalities had won individual awards during the previous UAAP season.

Three of them are Rookie of the Year winners; namely: Aizel Mae Rom from Women’s Table Tennis; Allen Roy Mationg from Men’s Track and Field; and Me Ann Joy Baclayon from Women’s Chess.

Another featured athlete is Women’s Volleyball’s Jovelyn Fernandez who bagged the Best Opposite Spiker award.

Meanwhile, the UAAP champion football teams are well represented. Shown are Chester Gio Pabualan, who was the Best Striker and Best Midfielder, Men’s Football Most Valuable Player (MVP) Viejay Frigillano, and Women’s Football MVP Katrina Magbitang.

“These athletes are big factors why last season was a memorable one for FEU sports. We bagged seven titles in the juniors, swept the football divisions for the third time, and are slowly re-establishing ourselves in the other sports,” said Athletics Senior Director Mark Molina.
