The Institute of Accounts Business, and Finance, Business Administration held its 3rd Student Research Colloquium 2017 last December 6, 2017, at FEU Case Study Room with a theme of “Building Innovative Ideas Towards Excellence in Business Research”. The colloquium was participated by five (5) group researchers from the different discipline, marketing, and finance courses. Among the group, advisers are Dr. Roland Simbre, Dr. Victor Tabuzo, Mr. Gavino Sagarino, and Mr. Ryan Christian Mercado.
Dr. Victor T. Tabuzos’ group research presenters got the best paper category, entitled “The Investment Preference of the College Students of Far Eastern University, Manila”.
This year’s student research colloquium objectives were to provide opportunities to present research proposals where they are contemplating an in-depth study, to encourage and inspire students from other disciplines to undertake their own research, to build a pool of students’ research outputs that can published in hard copy and/or electronic form and to present research output in local and international conferences and competitive research events.
Dr. Josielyn Mendoza and Dr. Gina Suarez were in the panel of reactors who gave their comments, reactions, and suggestions for possible improvement of the research.
The event was headed by research committee chairman and BA assistant program head, Dr. Marietta C. Israel, BA Program Head, Dr. Joselito P. Tem and IABF Dean, Dr. Alma V. Dela Cruz.
