FEU Academy continues to expand excellence and innovation in professional development, further exemplifying the university’s commitment of fortitude, excellence, and uprightness.

Last Nov. 14, FEU Academy with FEU Manila Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHM) established partnership with the Food Safety and Hygiene Academy of the Philippines (FoodSHAP®), Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Professionals (ITHP) Philippines, and ITHP UK through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

FoodSHAP® is an organization that advocates awareness of food safety. It develops internationally recognized certificate programs for food handlers. Meanwhile, ITHP Philippines and UK is one of the largest organizations committed to propelling professional growth and development in the field of hospitality and tourism.

Through these partnerships, two flagship certifications will be introduced: Certified Hospitality Professionals and Certified Tourism Professionals. These include key courses such as Level 1: Foundations of Food Safety, Level 2: Basic Food Safety for Food Handlers, Level 3: HACCP Principles and Practices, and Level 4: Food Safety Compliance Officer.
