FEU Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHM) recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with Novotel Suites Manila at Acqua.
FEU President Dr. Michael M. Alba, Dean of ITHM Dr. Joy Sheelah Baraero – Era, and Associate Dean of ITHM Mr. Johncent M. del Rosario, Mr. Jan Racky A. Masa, ITHM Department Chair for HRM, Ms. Carolina L. Roces, and Dr. Adalbert Alcaide, Director of University Industry Linkages under the Academic Affairs Office led the signing held on April 24, 2023.
The event was facilitated by Mr. Raul R. Aquino, General Manager of the Novotel Suites Manila at Acqua, who preceded the presentation. Dean Joy delivered a brief statement introducing FEU and ITHM, as well as how the Institute’s connection with Novotel is strategic, with linked principles and aims that both represent in terms of offering services to its customers and the greater community on what truly counts. In response, Mr. Aquino stated that he will ensure that all students gain a great deal of information and experience while under their supervision.
The ITHM-Novotel Suites Manila at Acqua cooperation was organized to enhance the relationship of the Internship program given to all incoming ITHM 4th year student interns, as well as partnership for placement and other areas of academe and industry collaboration.
