ITHM officials during their visit at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus

Far Eastern University Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (FEU-ITHM) benchmarked with the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus visited Thailand last Oct. 25 to 28.

The faculty represented by Carolina Roces, Associate Department Chair–Internship and Dr. Mark Lixcel Lantican, Associate Department Chair–HRM, shared their insights on leadership, global citizenship, service mind, and identity.

The FEU-ITHM representatives also conducted ocular inspections at Graceland Khaolak Resort and Spa in Phuket and Pimalai Resort and Spa in Krabi. The two establishments are their new partners for internship. They checked how the operations work and the accommodation that the students will be staying for 4 to 5 months.

They also met with the representatives of Novotel Avista-Kata for future training partnership.

This productive visit is just one of the internationalization initiatives of ITHM to provide more opportunities for their students.
