In the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Ranking 2021, Far Eastern University (FEU) achieved the 79th place in the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities. The university climbed the international rankings from last year’s 91st spot.
Compared to traditional ranking systems which evaluate quantitative metrics such as the number of journal publications and employment rate of graduates, WURI evaluates universities’ flexible and innovative efforts to foster a workforce that meets the demand from industry and society.
The WURI ranking also highlights the Top 50 universities in these five areas: Industrial Application, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Ethical Value, Student Mobility and Openness, and Crisis Management.
FEU currently ranks 16th on Ethical Value, 42nd on Entrepreneurial Spirit, and 12th on Crisis Management.
The FEU Institute of Technology also joined the Global Top 100-200 Rank of Innovative Universities and placed 24th on Entrepreneurial Spirit.
