FEU Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management students Hannah Rikka Cortez, Czarina Shaine Fernando, and Alicia Jane Santos recently completed the Keukdong Foreign Languange Program (KFLP) at Far East University (Keukdong Dae Hakyo) in South Korea.

They are the first batch of participants in the program that exposed them to the Tourism & Hospitality standards of South Korea.

Far East University has courses on Airline Cabin Service Management, Flight Operation and other hospitality disciplines. In their one-semester stay, the FEU students learned about the Korean language and culture and were also given time to teach English and the Filipino culture to Korean students.

The students also took elective courses about United Nations, International Peace & Security and studies on North Korea. These broadened their understanding and interest on global relations and international advocacies.

FEU ITHM plans to send another batch of qualified students to join the KFLP in the next academic year as part of its international linkage strategy.
