In the past two or so months, the very crushable FEU courtside reporter Ganiel Krishnan took a break from her courtside reporter duties for ABS-CBN Sports to pursue something else. That something else, past courtside reporters like Ateneo’s Laura Lehmann and UST’s Tina Marasigna have also gone to: Pageants.
Except that Krishnan, 21 who’s a Communication junior at FEU, joined two pageants in a row—and won significant places in both. She first landed second runner-up at Miss Manila 2016 last June, before stunning anew as the newly hailed Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International 2016 last July 30. In the latter beauty-and-brains contest, she bested the rest at the Q&A segment with her stand on “inner beauty.”
“In today’s society, people objectify beauty through good looking people and perfect body… I think that at the end of the day, we should all know that beauty of the face can last for years but beauty from within like your personality lasts for an entire life.”
