​The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management is dedicated to cultivating service-oriented professionals and leaders in the fields of tourism and hospitality management. This commitment comes to life through a purposefully designed curriculum and an extensive range of career exploration opportunities available during their studies. The curriculum experience extends to produces graduates who are not only highly competent but also exemplify qualities of compassion, commitment to excellence, fortitude, and uprightness.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

​In its commitment to support the learning outcomes of the tourism and hospitality management programs, ITHM strives to:  

  • ​Provide tourism and hospitality management quality education with a focus on industry responsiveness and outcome-based curricular programs striving for recognition through external quality assessments.  
  • ​Ensure the necessary support to uphold the quality of education, including state-of-the-art facilities, qualified faculty members with industry experience, local and international partnerships, and other essential factors conducive to student learning.  
  • ​Provide a general education teaching and learning environment that cultivates Digital Literacy Effective Communication and Critical Thinking (DLECCT) skills.  
  • ​Offer opportunities for the enhancement of entrepreneurship mindset, leadership, and management skills both within and beyond the classroom.  
  • ​Promote and facilitate co-curricular and extracurricular activities as essential components of a student’s holistic development.  
  • ​Promotes proactive and responsive research, extension, heritage preservation, and environmental stewardship, making significant contributions to both national and global development.  
  • ​Provide students access to career opportunities and structured pathway programs throughout and following their studies.  
  • ​Offer industry immersion, real-life exposure, volunteer opportunities, and curriculum-related activities within both the industry and the community.  
  • ​Provide holistic care and hospitable office and officers who will support students’ enriching experience. 
  • ​Proactively embody and contribute to the realization of FEU’s aspirations as well as those of tourism industry.
