ITHM TamBlitz 2022: Promoting Sustainability Through Filipino Craft Innovation

The recently held ITHM ” TamBlitz 2022: Promoting Sustainability Through Filipino Craft Innovation,” was organized by FEUture Events MICE class section 2 in collaboration with Entrepreneurship and Business Planning class, and featured various Filipino-made products made with raw materials from various provinces in the Philippines. The event included 71 groups and 42 panelists who evaluated the students based on the provided criteria for the course.

The objective of the sales blitz exhibit is to showcase ITHM students’ entrepreneurial talents and innovative thinking, as well as to promote Filipino-made products made from raw materials available in various provinces throughout the Philippines.

Thesis It! FEU-ITHM’s Thesis Defense Day Held by PAHAM Events and Production together with ITHM Faculty

The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management held its final research defense on November 26, 2022 organized by the Introduction to Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events Management (MICE) class, Section 3 “PAHAM Events and Production”. There were invited panelists from different Universities and Institutions. The event aims to achieve quality research output and enrich students’ knowledge on research writing. The 4th year Hotel and Restaurant Management students of ITHM were able to successfully showcase all their hardships to them.

GRANDEUR: The Grand Tourism Competition and Culinary Exhibit 2022 was a culiminating event organized by Section 1 of the Introduction to Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events Management class.

Held last November 24, 2022 at the Banquets and Events Room of Alfredo Reyes Hall and Pavilion 2, its purpose is to showcase the different cultural heritage and remarkable facts from the different countries in the world and provinces around the Philippines.

Aligned with the course subjects and topics under the faculty of ITHM, the culminating event became more competitive and relevant towards to the participants as each group showcased different provinces, countries together with their cultural heritage and amazing facts that truly portray the goal of FEU-ITHM in academic excellences.

The organizers invited popular chefs, Chef Jeobert Canedo and Chef Eduardo Martilez who gave insights and recommendations on how they can bring their culinary skills to the next level.

Dr. Mark Alvero and Chef Racky Jan Masa also expressed insights in judging the Booth Design Competition.
