Three years since classes went online, Far Eastern University Career and Placement Office (FEU CAPO) organized the Onsite Recruitment Exclusive for Tams Job Fair (ORETams) on May 4 & 5, 2023.
More than 2,000 graduating Tams have scouted for their dream jobs by engaging with company representatives. Booths were located at the Science Building Covered Walk, Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts Building Covered Walk, and the FEU Freedom Park which served as areas for job application.
A total of 56 companies offered more than 8,000 job vacancies. Top companies like Amazon, Unilever, SM Investments, Ayala Land, BPI, St. Luke’s Medical Center, Petron, San Miguel Brewery, Johnson & Johnson and many more were set to hire graduating students to join them in their respective industries.
During the onsite fair, participants engaged in several activities as part of the requirement given by employers. Students and alumni were able to submit their resumé and participated in on-the-spot speed interviews and short information sessions. Internship openings were also posted for those students who are about to start their apprenticeship.
Co-presentor JobStreet offered free resumé-ready photos from their photo booth as well as free resume printing service for the attendees. CAPO has also given out the Job Fair BINGO cards for participants to complete their tasks and win prizes courtesy of sponsors.
The FEU Career and Placement Office (CAPO) continues to provide support to all Tamaraw students and recent alumni for career development and job opportunities for their growth and excellence as FEUture ready Tams.
