Surabaya, Indonesia – With the aim to promote cooperation and development, share advanced educational resources, and enhance educational opportunities for students and faculty members, Far Eastern University (FEU) Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universitas Ciputra Surabaya – Faculty of Communication Science and Media Business (UC-CSMB) on November 11, 2022.
With the signing of the MOU, both institutions will go into joint projects such as, but not limited to, academic programs in workshops and exhibitions, guest-lecturing, student, and faculty exchange activities, and cooperation in research in the fields of the arts and sciences.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Michael M. Alba, FEU President, Dr. Rowena Capulong Reyes, FEU IAS Dean, and Dr. Burhan Bungin, UC-SCMB Dean, and Dr. Ign. Ismojo Herdono, UC-SCMB Communication Science Department Head.
As an initial activity of the MOU, Dean Reyes delivered a lecture, ‘Do It Right: Immersive Engagement on Social Media’ to senior Communication students of the Indonesia Mass Media class of Dr. Cosmas Gatot Haryono.
