FEU is saddened by the passing of Ramon Y. Sy (BS in Commerce, 1952), Outstanding Alumni awardee and one of the most respected Philippine bankers. He was 91
Mr. Sy served as the Vice-Chairman of Asia United Bank (AUB) Corporation and held numerous positions in the world of business, insurance, banking, and finance. In addition, Mr. Sy is a member of the Board of Trustees of the FEU Nicanor Reyes Memorial Foundation since 2016.
He was feted by the University during its 75th Founding Anniversary. Mr. Sy is also a featured alumnus in the Be Brave FEU Documentary.
