MANILA – Tatak Tamaraw, FEU’s annual orientation activity for all freshmen successfully collaborated with Lazada by bringing the LazBeauty Room to campus from August 7-11, 2023. The week-long event featured interactive booths, learning sessions and other activities, and was the first stop in a series of LazBeauty Room visits across universities to empower students through beauty, confidence, and self-care.
Throughout the week, students gathered at the LazBeauty booth for exciting challenges and giveaways, a make-over area and the LazBeauty photo wall.
Inspiring learning sessions with top LazAffiliates aligned with the Tatak Tamaraw theme and highlighted “Beauty and Care on The Go” by FEU alumna Raisa Contawi, “Self-care for Stress Relief” by Jaz Reyes, and “Your Beauty, Your Rules” by Miss Nate.
More than 5,000 freshmen joined the various activities of Tatak Tamaraw including “Tam Challenge” where students accomplished various tasks that built collaboration and camaraderie, while instilling the Tamaraw spirit. Through the partnership with Lazada, the LazBeauty Room served as one of the Tam Challenge stations and was an engaging and uplifting addition to Tatak Tamaraw 2023.
“The successful Tatak Tamaraw collaboration between Lazada and FEU is a testament of how vital the role of industry partnerships is in supporting the holistic campus development and experience of students– especially for the freshmen who are being challenged by a change in academic environment, advancement in the use of technology and A.I., and the need to be brave and confident amidst societal issues,” said Student Development Director Rondell Gascon.
