Additional measures to deal with the prevention and spread of COVID-19 (March 9, 2020)

The FEU Group of Schools – FEU Manila, FEU Makati, FEU Cavite, FEU HS, FEU Tech, FEU Diliman, FEU Alabang, and FEU Roosevelt – will continue provide to its communities with clean, green, and safe environments. In view of the current developments on the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), all FEU institutions commit to implement additional measures to deal with the prevention and spread of this disease. Plans are being made for the following:

  1. Implementation of an information campaign to dispel false news
  2. Provision of thermal scanners at all school entry points
  3. Provision of flu and pneumococcal vaccines, as well as attention to all medical concerns at the corresponding health centers
  4. Intensified cleaning and sanitation of all school premises

Regular updates and further announcements will be released as the group closely monitors the situation.

Work Suspension in FEU Manila from March 9-15, 2020

The Manila City government has cancelled classes in all levels from 9 to 15 March 2020. In line with this announcement and as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19, FEU Manila is suspending work starting at 6:30 p.m. today, 9 March 2020, until 15 March 2020. However, employees may be required to report for work as determined by their respective Department Heads.

Everyone is advised to monitor and follow all precautionary measures issued by Department of Health, FEU’s University Health Services (UHS), and other legitimate sources.

Suspension of OJT/RLE/Practice Teaching

OJT/RLE/Practice Teaching has been suspended in light of Malacañang’s cancellation of classes in Metro Manila on March 10 to 14, 2020. Students enrolled in these courses should monitor their Canvas for updates.

Extended class suspension by Malacañang

(As of March 13, 2020)
Malacañang last night March 12, 2020 extended the suspension of classes in Metro Manila up to April 12 as a precautionary measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). All learning engagements and activities will continue to be made in CANVAS so it is important to check your respective accounts regularly. Updates will be provided immediately once the next steps are finalized.
