The four programs are recognized for its strengths, ability to cope with digital trends in education, and adaptability to the new normal.
These add to the University’s growing list of AUN-QA certified undergraduate programs. Last November 2020, FEU earned the coveted accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology programs
The AUN-QA certified programs have logically structured curriculum with Learning Outcomes aligned with the University’s mission and vision. The educational philosophy and policies are articulated to both students and teachers with emphasis on student-centered learning (SCL). FEU has also invested in facilities to enrich and support the teaching and learning of these programs.
Furthermore, employment coaching, job fairs and career-oriented seminars are organized to enhance employability of students under these programs.
AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) promotes quality higher education and collaborates with international bodies for the benefit of the ASEAN community. The network currently has 140 member institutions in the ASEAN region, with FEU being one of only nineteen (19) member institutions in the Philippines.
The university is already preparing its application for the next round of assessments in 2022, according to Academic Quality Assurance Director Dr. Aisa P. Arlos.
FEU Vice President for Academic Development Dr. Myrna Quinto said that the AUN-QA assessment certification is a crucial first step in the internationalization and standardization efforts of the University to ensure quality education for its students.
