FEU ITHM student John Christian Lucero was crowned the first Mx. Turismo 2019 during the UP Tourism Convention last October 19, 2019.
Mx. Turismo or Mixed Tourism is a gender-neutral competition promoting equality. The competition aims to raise awareness that inclusivity is applicable to all sexes.
Mr. Lucero during the Q&A portion touched on the importance of sustainable tourism development. This is also inline with his advocacy of raising awareness to preserve tangible and intangible heritage for current and future generations.
